Vicky Spratt Announced as Zone Three Host at Future Foundations

Housing Executive is thrilled to announce Vicky Spratt as the host of Future Foundations: zone three. Dedicated to the people, homes & communities at the heart of the sector, Vicky will be leading discussions throughout the day covering issues like homelessness,  the division unfolding across UK communities and rebuilding trust with residents. Housing professionals will know Vicky from her extensive experience in the sector, hosting multiple conference panels and maintaining her presence as a key voice in social housing.

Vicky will be hosting the panel discussions for zone three, whilst Housing Executive Editor Harry Palmer will chair the agenda for zone one. Proptech Peer Group founder Stewart Davison will be joined by Elaine Middleton in chairing the conversations across zone two. Vicky Spratt will also be making an appearance at the Housing Executive Awards following the conference, featuring as the evenings guest speaker before the awards ceremony gets underway. You can find tickets to Housing Executive: Future Foundations on our website, FREE for public sector organisations.

An award-winning journalist, author, and housing rights advocate, Vicky has been shortlisted for the Orwell Prize three years in a row (2023, 2024, 2025). Her first book, TENANTS, was a Financial Times book of the year in 2022.

Vicky is a correspondent and columnist at The i Paper. She writes about the housing crisis, inequality, society, economics and politics, making her an excellent voice to shape the conversations at Future Foundations focused on the residents at the heart of the social housing sector. Her work has seen her nominated for a British Journalism Award. In 2017, her writing about the plight of private renters got letting fees banned (the Tenant Fees Act 2019). She gives evidence in Parliament and her work is often referenced by politicians in both houses.
