Guinness won the award through its work over the last two years delivering retrofit measures across 2,000 properties.

These works will have helped reduce carbon emissions and will have benefitted our residents by lowering heating bills, decreasing the risk of damp and mould, and improving comfort and wellbeing.

Lucja Paulinska, Head of Sustainability at The Guinness Partnership, said: “We are delighted that our sustainability work has been recognised.  Across Guinness, we are working to improve sustainability in the new homes we build, our existing homes, and in the offices we work in.  We also work with our suppliers to ensure an aligned approach.  Guinness is focussed on reducing its carbon emissions and will continue to work towards delivering its net zero target.”

Gary Braybrooke, Energy Efficiency Awards chairman said: “The judges were impressed by the scale and scope of the work carried out by The Guinness Partnership. While many housing associations have undertaken similar work, the Guinness Partnership evidenced a consistent approach that ensured quality delivery for its tenants throughout this retrofit programme. Among all the organisations that entered this category, it was a clear and unanimous choice of the judges to award The Guinness Partnership the Greater London Energy Efficiency Housing Association/Landlord of the Year title.”
