Equans is currently half way through an estate wide programme of elemental renewals including windows, doors, kitchens and bathrooms at the Cherry Sutton estate.
Residents have provided comments such as “fast and efficient… nothing was too much trouble”, “thank you for your brilliant work” and “workmanship and attitude to health and safety were faultless”.
Another resident said: “Great job thank you, so pleased. All done in good timing”.
The window and door renewal work has not only improved the appearance of the properties, but also improved their energy efficiency, which will benefit the lives of residents especially with colder months on the horizon. There are 284 houses and 76 flats in 13 blocks included in this scheme. Lucky resident Andrea Doyle, whose property officially marked the half-way point of the scheme, was recently presented with a gift by the Equans and Clarion teams.
This project is part of an existing 15-year partnership between Equans and Clarion Housing Group, aimed at regenerating communities and improving the lives of residents.
Neil Warburton, Refurbishment Director at Equans, said: “We’re delighted to have hit a major milestone on this scheme, with our dedicated and knowledgeable team working alongside Clarion to improve the lives of residents. The Cherry Sutton project also has a dedicated Resident Liaison Officer, whose sole job is to support people while the regeneration takes place.”
