Propeller bolsters team with new implementation manager

Propeller has appointed a new implementation manager to support its expanding client base across the housing sector.

Claire Sockett joins from Civica bringing 18 years’ experience of IT support, solutions and delivery. In her new role, she will be responsible for streamlining the delivery of Propeller’s cloud-based workforce management and compliance solutions to housing providers and their contractors.

Throughout her career, Claire has honed her skills supporting the social housing sector. After volunteering for a housing provider at the age of 16, her first job after university was systems manager for South Yorkshire Housing Association (SYHA). She went on to expand her expertise in IT implementation and digital services before becoming head of IT for SYHA and then moving into IT project management.

Speaking about her appointment Claire said: “This new role offers a great opportunity to work for a fast-growing business with a strong customer service ethos and innovative products.

“My first experience of IT implementation involved a job scheduling product, so it feels like I’m going back to my roots at Propeller.

“As the first point of contact for our customers, my priority is to ensure their projects meet all objectives with a focus on strong governance. I’ll be working closely with our internal teams to make sure delivery is as efficient as possible from beginning to end, including the transition to support, post implementation.”

Dave Carr, Managing Director of Propeller, added: “Within the past 12 months, we have more doubled our client base, so Claire’s expertise will be instrumental in helping us to build on this success.

“She has the perfect skill set to keep maximising project outcomes for our customers while driving efficiency internally.”
