Housing Executive Awards Entries Close With Record Number of Nominations

Entries for the 2026 Housing Executive Awards are now closed, and we are delighted to say we have seen a record number of nominations.

After a triumphant inaugural year in 2025, the Housing Executive Awards will return to Bolton in October for another night of celebration, and we can’t wait to welcome you to the awards once again and give recognition to the people that make the sector what it is today.

Nominations are now being prepared to be sent over to our expert judging panel, who will have the difficult task of narrowing our nominations down into the official shortlists for each category. The awards night will be hosted by Elaine Willcox, a BAFTA-winning journalist with almost three decades of experience and Lead Correspondent for ITV Granada.

2026 will differ from last year in a major way however, as this years awards will follow Housing Executive: Future Foundations, a full day of panel talks and networking dedicated to the issues that could decide the future of the social housing sector. The conference will lead into the Housing Executive Awards in the evening, closing the day on a note of recognition for the sector after a day of debate and collaboration.

You can find tickets for Housing Executive: Future Foundations here, with exclusive FREE tickets available to those working in the public sector.

Harry Palmer, Editor of Housing Executive said: “The response to this year’s Housing Executive Awards has been phenomenal, and it’s amazing to see so many entries of such a high calibre.

“The awards is an opportunity to give thanks and recognition to the sector that helps so many people up and down the country, and it will be the perfect note to end the day in Bolton following Future Foundations.”
