Hispec expands range with fifteen new products

Hispec has unveiled 15 new products, including a CO2 monitor, switch input module and a completely new range of lighting solutions.

The significant expansion to its product range includes the launch of a new CO2 monitor.

The latest addition to the air quality range gives readings for both CO2 levels and temperature. The product has adjustable alarm thresholds and provides users with eight-hour and 24-hour CO2 averages.

Adding to its already comprehensive range of fire detection products, the national supplier has extended its range of control units with the new switch input module.

Compatible with smoke, heat and CO alarms, the new module comes with a 10-year battery backup and can be connected with up to 20 Hispec fire devices per system. Plus, the new switch input module can be linked to sprinkler systems when changeover contacts are specified and can also be linked to EN54 fire panels.

Chris Loughlin, managing director of Hispec, commented: “We’re always looking for new products to add to our extensive fire detection range which help to keep people safe nationwide.

“Even though all Hispec products are available across the UK, we’ve introduced the CO2 monitor to meet Scottish Air Quality Standard 3.14. In tandem, the launch of the new switch input module will help installers in Wales comply with the BS 9251 regulation and also the household guide to sprinklers.”

As well as extending its fire detection range, Hispec has added a full new range of site lighting solutions to its product portfolio. The new range comprises of 13 new products, including a multi-work light, twin adjustable light, tripods and headlight.
