We’re people with a passion for making the difference – a team with a mission to transform how people think, feel and act in their workspace.
We are a leading workplace consultancy, design and build agency, helping organisations remodel and develop their offices. We’ve developed a range of specialist working environments for the Housing sector, including the likes of Eastlight Community Housing, Bromford Housing, Gloucester City Homes, Miller Homes, Saffron Housing and many more.
Since we began back in 1977, we’ve been fascinated by the psychology and design of the workplace.
Today with new tech, new ways of working, and dramatic shifts in how organisations are adapting to changed landscapes, the situation is more interesting and stimulating than ever.
For one of the largest players in our industry, we’re a bit of a rarity – an Employee Owned Trust with directors who are actively involved in the business day-to-day. So every piece of work matters for us, across the board. In fact a board director takes ultimate responsibility for each project we handle.
Just as importantly we’re a team that loves what we do. That’s why so many of us have racked up a lot of years with Claremont. We balance passion with knowledge, fresh thinking with ‘a safe pair of hands’, creativity with technical capability. Ultimately, our culture is about always challenging the status quo, to keep our clients and us ahead of the game and FutureFlexible. With a recent strong track record delivering FutureFlexible workspaces, we are excited for the opportunity to work with you on what I’m sure will be an innovative and high-quality scheme.
As workplace professionals its easy for us to champion the return of the office but despite the positive elements of working from home, the evidence tells us that people are missing the interaction with their colleagues and the virtual contact is simply not the same. The ability to spend part of the working week connecting with colleagues, clients and collaborators in a thoughtfully designed space and then enjoy the dynamic environment that a city offers, is likely to be a compelling reason to physically come to work – for part of the week at least.
We believe a hybrid work style is here to stay.
We believe the office is not dead, Covid-19 hasn’t killed it, however we believe the definition of a workplace is transforming into what we are calling a ‘Destination Office’, designed as a central hub to attract agile and hybrid working colleagues.
Claremont quickly recognised that we needed the full breadth of their expertise, from helping to clarify our needs and select the right building, through to designing and realising an environment that our teams would be proud to visit and work in. This is Taylor Wimpey’s fifth project with Claremont, and we remain impressed with their ability to understand our challenges, exceed our expectations and create a truly progressive and stand-out workspace for our people.
Andy Feldon, Taylor Wimpey
Claremont’s brief was to turn the concept design into a full design and working drawing package and to make our new workplace a reality. They’ve delivered the office to an incredibly high standard and on time.
Marcus Fisher, Community Gateway Association
Claremont’s project management skills, attention to detail and reputation for high quality fit-out made them the perfect delivery partner for this project and they have worked collaboratively and openly with our delivery partners throughout. Completed on time, to budget and to exceptional quality, we could not be happier with the finished result.
