Brouha is a boutique Public Relations agency, that specialises in providing strategic communications to local authorities, housing associations, service providers and contractors who want to make a difference to the communities and supply chain in which they serve. We have nearly two decades of experience in delivering PR, digital content marketing and branding strategy consultancy to the sector and have particular expertise in decarbonisation and retrofit and social value communications.

Put simply, our team lives and breathes housing and we work with organisations to understand how they want to be perceived in their marketplace and support them on a day-to-day basis, using their voice with copy writing of press releases, articles, blogs, website content, newsletters, flyers and more besides. We can manage social media accounts, planning content and posting messages, photography, enjoy close relationships with media, trade associations, forums, and membership organisations support in event or exhibition planning and organisation, source promotional material and provide support in any other areas of marketing and communications that may be required.

Brouha is small and tight knit, which means we can easily partner with our customers to become an extension of the team.  We have a wealth of experience in not only what we do, but also the types of organisations we do it for across the social housing sector.

A modern languages graduate from Durham University and member of the CIPR, Brouha MD Fiona’s career has since been defined by communications and the delivery of professional B2B public relations and marketing.

Since 2006, she has led Brouha’s team to success in delivering award-winning campaigns for clients offering property services and building products to the social housing, trade, commercial and new build sectors.

Described in a psychometric test as a rare type of female who is imaginative yet decisive, creative yet deadline driven and ambitious yet private, Fiona falls into a category representing just 0.2% of the population.

Outside of work, Fiona loves her horses, chickens and clowder of cats.

Susie joined Brouha in 2013 and is responsible for the implementation of our digital marketing campaigns. Susie approaches PR and marketing with a holistic and strategic view thanks to her background in sales, marketing, and finance.

Studying business at agricultural college, Susie has the unique ability to not only deliver professional communication programmes, but also teach you to ride a horse and look after a farm – which is apt considering she’s married to a farmer and has a mixture of livestock, horses, dogs and children to look after at home!

Lucy started her career at Brouha in 2010, making a leap from a longstanding career in the financial services industry, where she was responsible for client management and the day to day running of a team of twelve. Marketing had always seemed like a more suitable fit for Lucy’s skillset and interests, and it was the right move to make.

Capable in all aspects of the role, but with a particular flair for organising events and exhibitions, Lucy has always enjoyed the social aspect the job offers as well as the fact that no two days are ever the same!

Outside of her role at Brouha, Lucy has two young daughters that keep her busy, as well as her dog with whom she enjoys long walks in the countryside around where she lives.

With previous experience in the housing sector as a Junior Bid Writer and a degree in Creative Writing and Screenwriting, Toby’s skillset further complements the experienced Brouha offering.

Toby is always open to learning, is hard working and enjoys interaction with clients, as well as working as part of the team.  In his free time, he writes scripts, short stories, and watches all manner of films. He also has plans to write a novel, provided he can find the time!

Imogen joined Brouha in 2024, after switching to a career in the housing sector, where she has been focused on promoting B2B products and services for housing professionals.

Prior to that, Imogen worked in broadcast media, delivering big budget campaigns for global brands and planning TV promotions across multiple languages for household names like Discovery and Cartoon Network.

This experience has given her valuable insights into managing creative marketing campaigns with measurable results, for clients of all shapes and sizes – plus the ability to spin many plates.

Outside of Brouha, Imogen is passionate about the environment and is kept busy on various projects, from tackling the garden to learning more about rewilding and sustainable living.

Rosie is currently studying Business Management with Marketing at University in Bristol and has taken a part time role within the team at Brouha to further improve her experience and skill set in preparation for the real working world. Rosie is proving a valuable asset at Brouha and is enjoying working directly with clients, writing up social media posts, articles, blogs, and much more. This hands-on experience has helped give Rosie a real insight into marketing and we hope this has cemented her decision to explore this as a career after her graduation.

Outside of work, Rosie also works in a Japanese tapas restaurant in Bristol, and spends lots of quality time with friends and family.
