Construction has started on 38 affordable homes in Horndean, Hampshire, as housing provider VIVID and Imperial Homes begin work on a development off Chalk Hill Road.
All 38 homes will be provided as affordable housing, with a mix of social rent and shared ownership properties.
The scheme will include one, two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, with completion expected in autumn 2028.
The development will also include outdoor space for residents and the wider community, alongside measures aimed at improving the energy performance of the homes.
These will include electric vehicle chargers and air source heat pumps.

These 38 affordable homes will give more people the chance to put down roots in Horndean and be part of a local community. The project will add to the supply of affordable housing in Horndean, with the homes due to be completed in 2028.
